Frequently asked questions
How accurate is this estimate?
It starts from independent research, not a single vendor’s number: Pixalate’s Q1 2025 North America benchmarks, drawn from over 40 billion programmatic transactions, found 19% of desktop web ad clicks were invalid, alongside 9% on mobile web and 22% inside mobile apps. Your real rate depends on industry, geography and keyword competition, so connect Didva’s free plan to measure it on your own traffic.
What counts as a fraudulent or invalid click?
Bots, click farms, competitors clicking your ads, accidental repeat clicks and other traffic with no chance of converting. Google Ads has its own definition and filtering process for invalid activity (see Sources below); ad platforms catch and credit some of it automatically, but much of it slips through.
Is the calculator really free?
Yes, no signup required. If you want the real number instead of an estimate, the free Didva plan measures invalid clicks on your actual campaigns.
