PPC Protect was renamed Lunio in 2022. Lunio's own site describes itself as "formerly PPC Protect", and ppcprotect.com now redirects to lunio.ai. So a search for a PPC Protect alternative is really a search for a Lunio alternative, and the useful comparison is with Lunio as it is sold today.
There is no product called PPC Protect left to switch away from. For Lunio's current pricing model, contract terms and six alternatives with published prices, use our Lunio page. This page covers the rename and how to read reviews that are split across both names.
Current prices, trials, contract terms and platform coverage, all checked September 2026.
What changed when PPC Protect became Lunio
PPC Protect started out in 2016 protecting Google Ads from click fraud. After the rename in 2022, around its Series A round, Lunio describes itself as "real-time invalid traffic detection for paid media" and lists integrations with Google, Bing, X, LinkedIn, Meta, Reddit, TikTok, Yandex and Naver.
The way it's sold is the part most likely to differ from an old review. Lunio's pricing page today has no plan prices; it quotes a share of your ad spend after you fill in a form, and offers a 14-day traffic audit booked through sales.
Reading old PPC Protect reviews
Review listings can split one company's history across two names, since sites that listed the product before 2022 may still show the old one. Reviews under the old name may mention plans, prices or a trial that Lunio no longer offers, so treat any buying details in them as history.
A practical rule: read recent reviews under the Lunio name for the buying experience and support, and older PPC Protect reviews for what users thought of the detection itself. For price, the only current source is the quote Lunio gives you.
If you want a tool with a published price
Most people searching for PPC Protect today want click fraud protection for Google Ads without a sales call. Didva's free plan tracks up to 3,000 clicks a month with no card, and paid plans start at $39 a month with automatic IP exclusions in Google Ads. Fraud Blocker, ClickGUARD, ClickCease and others also publish their prices; the Lunio page compares them side by side.
